On the 9th of October 2005 the Cultural Policy Education Group will gather cultural policy experts, professors and researchers to discuss the issue of whether it is possible to develop a ‘model’ curriculum for cultural policy.
They will critically approach the following pressing aspects of the cultural policy education: the potential application of a standard content line, the identification of a core group of academic disciplines that should be included in any cultural policy curriculum, the development of pre-matriculation standards for the interdisciplinary, academic programme, the investigation of existing cultural policy curricula and the identification (through cross comparison) of common elements and differences in background, content and format, the identification of research lines needed for curriculum development of the discipline, the identification of a core bibliographical resource on cultural policy.
